SEA MILITANCY, or South-East Asia Militancy, focuses on independent news and analysis on terrorism, insurgency, militancy, counter-terrorism/insurgency and armed conflict in the region.

SEA MILITANCY is founded and edited by Malaysian journalist Zam Yusa, who broke stories such as on ISIS’s South-East Asian fighters in Syria during the heyday of the now-defunct caliphate, as well as foreign terrorist fighters and their children on the frontline fighting government troops, much to society’s dismay, during ISIS’s siege of the southern Philippine city of Marawi in 2017.
